Steroid Injections

Steroid injections are often booked in advanced as there is a waiting list.

Whilst waiting for injections if other medical illness or procedures are needed/offered this can affect whether you can have an injection or not.

The main issues are Vaccines and Antibiotics.

If you are booked in for a steroid injection and require a vaccination or antibiotics, please contact your GP surgery and request to speak to one of the MSK team.
